About

In 2021 Marvin Peachey was looking for an opportunity to purchase a business that he could involve his family in. He Heard about Georgia door and Gate, and how the Ownership was interested in making a change. Marvin reached out to Steve Bear, and after a few months an agreement was made to purchase the assets and Name of the business.

Steve Bear founded Dublin Overhead Door in 2005 in Dublin Georgia, and in2010 the business was moved to Midville Georgia and renamed Georgia Door and Gate. In July of 2022 Marvin Peachey and his family took over the business from Steve Bear and his family.

Georgia Door and Gate LLC will continue to operate as a family oriented business that allows our employees to prosper and grow. We will strive to be a company that provides exceptional service, and to continue to grow and build on the legacy that theBear family has left us.

We hold to these core values: God first in all things. Deliver excellence to our customers. Always do your best, and Gratitude.

At the end of the day, as Marvin always says about our customers and employees, "I love to see them smile."
